Ephmen down Boston College

CHESTNUT HILL, MA- The Williams College men's swimming and diving (2-0) defeated Division 1 Boston College 181-115.  This marks the second consecutive year that the Ephs defeated the Eagles.

"On both sides I felt we raced really well," said head coach Steve Kuster.  "I knew it was going to be tough, on the road, after swimming the night before but we slugged it out."

The top Eph performers on the day were senior Chris Millen, junior Norman Scott, and sophomore Chris Milliken.  Millen won two events, the 200 freestyle (1:46.02) and the 200 yard IM (1:57.04), while Scott finished first in both the 200 butterfly (1:56.07) and the 100 freestyle (48.08).  Milliken, the lone Eph diver, swept the two diving events, finishing first in the 1-meter and 3-meter.

The Ephs also received a boost from their first year class, especially Gary Robertson and Ben Wampler.  Robertson posted second place finishes in both the 1000 yard freestyle and 500 yard freestyle, while Wampler anchored both the 200 yard medley relay and 200 yard freestyle relay wins.

The Ephs next see action on January 5th with a home meet against Union.
