Squash Takes 10th Straight Little Three Title

The Williams men’s sqash team wrapped up the regular
season with authority against Little Three rivals Wesleyan and
Amherst this weekend.
Seniors George Miller, Cameron Henry, and Bucky Marshall all played
well in their final Little Three contests. Miller had the honor of
playing number one in the morning against Wesleyan, beating his
opponent Broadfoot in three. George then played his typical solid
squash against Amherst captain Jerome Giovinazzo, taking him down
in three also.
Cameron Henry dominated Fowles at number five allowing three points
and leaving little room for improvement against Amherst, Henry, not
being one to take a rivalry lightly, stepped his game up to play a
perfect match against Kevin Cecala. Henry yielded a miserly 3
points all weekend.
Against both Amherst and Wesleyan Bucky Marshall played very
patient squash, simply wearing his opponents down in the first game
before steam rolling them in the second and third.
Ethan Buchsbaum also had a notable performance only yielding one
point to Amherst number one Drew Blacker, thoroughly avenging his
loss to Blacker in the regular season last year.
The Ephs are gearing up for a tough week of training in preparation
for Nationals at Princeton in two weeks.
