Ephs earn at-large berth in NCAA Tournament

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA — Mike Russo's Williams College men's soccer team (10-4-2) earned an at-large berth into the 2007 NCAA Div. III Tournament today and will head to host Keene State for a Saturday game with Eastern Connecticut State (11-6-3).

Saturday's first round game will begin at 1:30 p.m. If the Ephs advance past the first round, they would face the winner of the Keene State-York (NY) game Sunday at Keene State. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.

Williams tied eventual NESCAC champion Middlebury in the conference tournament semifinals, 1-1, but the Panthers advanced on penalty kicks, 3-0.
