Four Ephs earn All-NESCAC honors

Ryan Pelletier '08
Williams College senior midfielder/forward Ryan Pelletier was a First Team All-NESCAC selection for the 2007 season, it was announced Thursday.
Pelletier was joined by three teammates who were named Second Team All-NESCAC; seniors Kit Fuderich and Nathan Elwood, and junior Sam Empson.
The Ephs, 10-4-2, are traveling to Keene State this weekend for the first and second round of the NCAA Tournament. Williams faces Eastern Connecticut State in the first round Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Pelletier switched from the back to midfield for good this season, then moved on to forward in an effort to ignite the Williams attack. A great distributor who sees the field well, Pelletier has three goals and three assists for nine points despite missing some time with an injury.
Fuderich, a forward, is tied with Empson and Jay Ingram
for the team leads in goals with four this year, giving him eight
points on the season. Empson led the team in points with 10 (four
goals, two assists).
Elwood, a back, anchors the Ephs back with fellow senior captain
Will Ford. His strong defensive play did not stop him from racking
up six points this season (two goals, two assists).
