George McCormack was named head coach of the Ephs in 2003.  Prior to that McCormack was the assistant for the men's lacrosse team for three years.

McCormack received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Ithaca College in 1987 and his Master of Education Degree from Boston University in 2007.  While at Ithaca he played both lacrosse and football and in his senior year played for the football National Championship in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl.
      
Prior to coming to Williams, McCormack coached at Union College, Norwich University, Boston College, Ithaca College and in N.S.W. Australia. While at Union, McCormack was named the 1999 Liberty League Lacrosse Coach of the Year.

In 2008 the fruits of McCormack's hard work and diligent recruiting began paying dividends as the Ephs won the NESCAC Championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time. McCormack was rewarded for his team’s successful season by being named 2008 NESCAC Coach of the Year and 2008 NEILA Coach of the Year.

At Williams, McCormack also serves as an assistant professor of physical education and is the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the football team.

McCormack and his wife Kristen live in Williamstown with their three sons Brett (14), Michael (12) and Sean (10).

Donald Brooks

Donald Brooks enters his third year at Williams. Brooks joined the Ephs staff in 2006 as the Williams College athletic department and coaching intern, assisting in athletic administration and football coaching through a program sponsored by the NCAA.

In the spring of 2008 Brooks was named the assistant athletic administrator, assistant coach of football and assistant coach of men's lacrosse at Williams.

As the assistant athletic administrator Brooks will assist with the day to day operation of the athletic department and the execution of the athletic director's strategic initiatives and coordinate student athlete programming including serving as the advisor of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and assisting teams with community service opportunities. Brooks will also coordinate the “EphTeam” program, an orientation program for student athletes. In addition, Brooks will also assist in the facilitation of the many NCAA and NESCAC Championship events hosted by Williams.

Brooks is a 2002 graduate of Springfield College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and he received his Master's degree in sports management from Springfield in 2008.

Brooks played on the offensive line and in 2000 as Springfield led the nation in rushing, averaging a Division III record 427.5 yards per game.

Brooks played lacrosse at Bellaire High School in Houston, Texas. He also played on the club lacrosse team as a freshman at the University of Alabama. From 1999-2006 Brooks served as a lacrosse instructor at Camp Atwater in North Brookfield, Massachusetts.

Upon graduating from Springfield, Brooks returned to his hometown of Houston, Texas, where he interned with the NFL’s Houston Texans in the Personnel and Operations departments and coached offensive and defensive line at Scarborough High School. After a season of coaching Texas high school football, Brooks returned to his alma mater for three seasons to coach the defensive line.

While at Springfield, Brooks was also the athletic director of the New Leadership Charter School in Springfield, Massachusetts, where his programs experienced tremendous success.

Brooks and his wife Shevie reside in Williamstown with their daughter Alana who was born in November of 2006.




Kevin Kiley

Assistant Men's lacrosse Coach

Kevin Kiley is entering his second campaign on George McCormack's lacrosse staff. Kiley is a 2003 graduate of Colby College  (BA) where he played four years as a defender. He is a also a 2005 graduate of St. Lawrence University (M.Ed).

Prior to joining the staff at Williams Kiley coached one year as an assistant lacrosse coach at St. Andrew's Presbyterian College (NC) during the 2005-06 academic year.

Kiley's first two years of collegiate coaching came at St. Lawrence University where he was an assistant men's lacrosse coach from in 2004 and 2005. Kiley also served as a defensive line coach for the Saints' football team in 2003 and 2004.

In the fall of 2007 Kiley joined the football staff at Williams where he will assist with the defensive line.
