Michael Gerbush named USILA Scholar All-American

Williams senior goalie Michael Gerbush (Glen Head, NY) has been
named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association
(USILA) Scholar All-America Team.
Players selected as Scholar All-Americans by the USILA, must be
nominated for All-America honors, or be a member of a North-South
All-Star team and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
Gerbush, a computer science major who has been named Academic
All-NESCAC (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.35) the maximum two years,
will begin a Doctoral program this fall at the University of Texas
in Austin.
Previously this season Gerbush received Honorable Mention
All-America honors from USILA and was named to the 2009 All-NESCAC
First Team. A Second Team All-NESCAC honoree in 2008, Gerbush moved
up to First Team this season. In 14 games Gerbush logged
838:06 between the pipes, allowing 119 goals. His goals against
average was 8.52 and he registered 169 saves for a .582 save
percentage.
