Hawley burst on the scene this season and led Williams in goals scored (40) and added six assists to make him the team leader in points with 46.

After defeating three nationally ranked teams to close out the regular season George McCormack's Ephs then rattled off three more wins over nationally ranked opponents to capture their first NESCAC title and advance to their first NCAA Division III Tournament.

Opening the year with four losses in their first six contests the 2008 Ephs made history by winning their first NESCAC title and advancing to the NCAA Tournament and finishing with a record of 10-6.
