SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Williams College men’s hockey team unloaded 45 shots as they snapped a two game losing skid and beat St. Michael’s 2-1 Saturday. The Ephs had dropped games to the NCAA #1 and #14 ranked teams in the two games preceding Saturdays conference match up and with the win improve to 12-6-2 (10-3-2 ECAC East-NESCAC). The Ephs were previously shutout in a lost to NCAA #1 Plattsburgh in their last game and now fall to 11-6-2 (9-3-2 ECAC East-NESCAC), while Norwich improves to 11-5-3 (9-3-2 ECAC East).

The win comes after the Ephs suffered a decisive defeat against Bowdoin last weekend, and improves their record to 8-4-2 (6-2-2 Conference). The Pilgrims, who just two weeks ago were sitting at the top of the conference with a 9-2 record, have now lost three of their last four and fall to 10-5.
