First there were 18 finalists for the hockey Humanitarian Award
and now there are only seven remaining.
Williams senior forward Zach Miller has advanced to the list of
seven finalists for the national Hockey Humanitarian Award
presented annually by the Bank of New York Mellon Wealth Management
to "College Hockey's Finest Citizen." The seven finalists are vying
for the right to be the 15th Hockey Humanitarian Award honoree.
Miller is the third Eph advancing to this stage along with Carolyn
Quan '08 and Will Bruce '08. Bruce, who is currently studying at
Oxford University, won the Hockey Humanitarian Award in 2008.
Three of the seven remaining finalists represent NESCAC Schools
with senior Kirsten Dier of Amherst and junior Brigid O'Gorman of
Connecticut College joining Miller.
