Williams College sophomore forward Connor Olvany (Wilmette, Ill.) earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors for March 2, 2009.
Olvany tallied the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Ephs to a 3-2 win over Bowdoin and into the semifinals of the NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Championship for the first time since the inaugural tournament in 2000. Olvany also assisted on Williams’ second goal in the second period to give the Ephs a 2-1 lead.
Olvany now has 3 goals and 7 assists for 10 points in the 2008-09 season.
