Bob Camp and Jack Ervasti Earn Regional Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2011.

Two Ephs, Bob Camp (Raleigh, NC) and Jack Ervati (Brooklyn, NY), were among six NESCAC golfers named to the Northeast Region team. Camp has accrued All-NESCAC First Team honors twice and Second Team honors once in his Eph career.

"I'm pleased that both Bob and Jack have achieved this honor for this year - both have been very consistent in each portion of our split seasons (fall and spring)," noted Eph head coach Rick Pohle.

"Bob has improved steadily each year with our program and has played a huge factor in our success during his 4 years here. I've been impressed with his approach to improving his game and making our team better. His on-course contributions will be missed next year, but his leadership has helped us develop the players that will take over after his graduation."

"Jack stepped right in as a freshman last season and has made great contributions to our team ever since," commented Pohle. "I think his competitive nature with his squash background has been a nice benefit to his success on the golf course and vice versa. He approaches the game with a model for success as an individual player and that ultimately makes us a better team."
