Ephs complete Day One at Hamilton

Clinton, NY -- The Wiliams College men's golf team ended their
day just under the fall of darkeness, shooting a team score of
316. Not all teams were able to complete their round as
difficult weather conditions did not allow for a speedy day of
golf. Full team standings are yet to be determined at this
time.
"On a cold and windy day, it was tough to get a read on how the
teams were eventually going to score," said Coach Pohle. "We
played well at times but fell victim to some wasted shots, having
not ever seen the golf course. We did beat 2 of the three other
teams in our rotation (St. Lawrence & NYU) - Salem St. played
well with all 5 players cracking the 80 barrier - I think playing a
practice round yesterday was a huge benefit for them."
Play continues tomorrow at another golf course (Skenendoa Club)
where a couple of the team players competed in last year's NESCAC
Tournament. The Ephs look to improve their performance and make
progress in the standings.
Team Results:
Drew Murray '11 - 75
Siwol Chang '12 - 79
Jake Wagner '11 - 80
Galen Jackson '09 - 82
Bob Camp '11 - 83
