Ephs capture 11th consecutive Little Three title at Taconic Golf Club
For the 11th year in a row, the Williams men's golf team captured the Little Three golf championship. Williams defeated Wesleyan 11 ½- ½ and downed Amherst 11-1. Amherst finished second by defeating Wesleyan 7-5.

The 12th-ranked Skidmore College golf team shot 306 to win the four-team Skidmore Fall Invitational played Wednesday at Saratoga National Country Club. Williams and Clarkson tied for second with 330, and Mass College of the Liberal Arts fourth with 375.

Rick Pohle's Ephs are on a mission to end the program's two-year drought of not competing in the NCAA Tournament. The Ephs last competed in the 2005 NCAA Tourney and the goal now is to do whatever is necessary to secure the bid to the 2008 NCAA Tourney, which would be the Ephs'10th appearance under Pohle.
