HADLEY, Mass. – Williams sophomore guard James Wang (Sydney, Australia) has been selected as the NESCAC Player of the Week for Jan. 11, 2010.
Wang averaged 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in a 2-0 week for the Ephs, as he hit 13-of-24 from the floor (.542) and 14-of-17 from the foul line (.824). He also had two steals, a block, and an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.0 for the week.
Wang is currently second on the Ephs with 16.8 points per game. He leads the team in assists with 59 and is second in steals with 11.
