Alex Rubin named NESCAC Player of the Week

Junior guard Alex Rubin (Chevy Chase, MD) came off the bench on Saturday against Bates in the NESCAC quarterfinals and poured in a season-high 20 points in 24 minutes of action as Williams earned an 87-78 win.

Rubin made 6-of-7 shots for the floor, including going 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, and also was perfect from the free throw line on his six attempts. He also contributed two rebounds in the victory.

Rubin is averaging 6.5 points per game through 24 appearances this year.
