Chris Mason came to Williams in 1980 after guiding the Boston

and 1984 U.S. Olympic teams.
The 1984 U. S. Olympic field hockey team won a bronze medal in Los
Angeles. In 1989 Mason was inducted into the U.S. Field

Two of Mason's Eph lacrosse teams have recorded undefeated seasons
– 1990 (13-0) and 1996 (15-0). Four times in the 1990s
(1990, 1993, 1996 & 1999) Mason directed the Ephs to the ECAC
