Three Ephs pick up All-NESCAC honors

Williams College junior forward Meighan McGowan was named First Team All-NESCAC for the third year in a row Wednesday, while junior defender Jess Overland picked up that honor for the second consecutive season.
In addition, senior forward/midfielder Charlotte VanWagenen, a captain, was named to the All-NESCAC Second Team.
McGowan led the Ephs (9-7) in points for the third straight season, scoring 20 points (6 goals, 8 assists). She now has 86 points in her three-year career as an Eph, with 28 goals and 30 assists. Overlander was a top defender on the Williams squad that posted a 1.41 goals against average. She had three defensive saves on the season and had one goal and one assist for three points.
Van Wagenen was an outstanding midfielder for the Ephs who switched to forward late in the season and wound up with 6 points (2 points, 2 assists) including a game-winning score in overtime against Colby.
