HADLEY, MA — Williams College senior Brian Morrissey (Winchester, MA) has been named New England Small College Athletic Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Morrissey ran for 201 yards Saturday on a single-game Williams record 42 carries in a 14-7 win over Hamilton, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. His 6-yard touchdown run with 2:12 remaining in the game was the deciding score.
Morrissey currently leads the conference with 771 yards rushing and is only 187 yards away from setting the Division III school record for yards rushing in a career held by Fred Storz '01 (2,644).
