Powers tabbed NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week

HADLEY, MA — Williams College junior linebacker Trevor Powers (Danvers, MA) has been selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference and the ECAC-Northeast Defensive Player of the Week for play ending Oct. 21.

Powers racked up 17 tackles, nine of which were solo, and had four stops for a combined loss of 15 yards. Powers also recorded a sack in the Ephs' 34-13 win over previously-unbeaten Tufts Saturday, and also recovered a fumble.

Powers leads Williams (3-2) with 54 tackles this season, 22 solo, and has two sacks and three pass break-ups.
