Ephs lead NESCAC with 10 team titles in 2008-09 and in overall team titles

Williams led the 11-menber New England
Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) in team titles won in
2008-09 by capturing 10 of the 26 titles contested.
The 2008-09 NESCAC team titles won by the
Ephs:
Men’s Cross Country (3rd straight)
Women’s Cross Country
Men’s Rowing
Women’s Rowing (4th straight)
Women’s Soccer (2nd straight)
Men’s Swimming & Diving (7th straight)
Women’s Swimming & Diving (9th straight)
Men’s Track & Field (10th straight counting a tie with
Tufts in 2007)
Women’s Track & Field (9th straight)
Volleyball (2nd straight).
Overall the Ephs men’s track & field team owns the most
NESCAC titles with 19, while the top Eph team among women is track
& field with 17 NESCAC championships.

Williams – 10
Middlebury – 4
Trinity – 4
Amherst – 3
Bowdoin – 2
Colby – 1
Tufts – 1
Wesleyan – 1
Overall since NESCAC Championships have been awarded (some as
early as the fall of 1983) Williams has won 139 titles, followed by
Middlebury (53) and Amherst (36).
