Noted author John Feinstein relates another great Div. III hoops story that happened at Williams
Washington Post sports columnist, Sporting News contributor and noted author John Feinstein made a trip to Salem, Virginia recently to take in the NCAA Men’s Division III Basketball Championship game between Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Williams.
Feinstein’s view of the championship game won by Wisconsin-Stevens Point, 78-73, and the atmosphere surrounding it was posted earlier on this site and can be seen here.
In the most recent edition of the Sporting News, the noted author has related another story from the past Williams season that took place in Chandler Gym in what some are calling a sweet moment between a coach, a player and a referee.
The sweet moment occurred at the end of the Ephs’ 104-70 win over SUNYIT in the NCAA Tourney.
