Williams College to host National Girls and Women in Sports Day Feb. 5
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- The Williams College Athletic Department will host its third annual Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday, February 5 from 11:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
All events and activities are free and open to the public.
Registration will be held in the lobby of Chandler Gym and will start at 11:00 a.m.
- Girls in grades K-8th are especially encouraged to attend and participate
- Instruction by Williams coaches and student-athletes
- Women are also encouraged to participate
- Women’s ice hockey game at 3:00 p.m. vs. Hamilton
Coaches and athletes from several Eph teams will be on hand to coordinate activities, assist in teaching fundamentals, and answer questions.
Featured sports in previous years included soccer, softball, field hockey, squash and golf.
This year specific events are being planned for women from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Women’s activities are expected to include spinning, yoga, and rowing. If possible, please bring a yoga mat for participation.
Participants should bring a lunch or snack, gym shoes, and a swim suit (optional).

11:30 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. Athletic Stations by sport
1:45 - 2:30 p.m. Swimming or Basketball
3:00 p.m. Varsity Women's Ice Hockey Game vs. Hamilton
